OMG! Es gibt besseres...
Habe die App probiert und muss sagen dass es manchmal schon Sinn macht ein paar Euros zu investieren. Die Logbook app kostet zwar einiges, aber damit kann man etwas anfangen. Saild ist ein etwas besserer Tracker, aber weit entfernt von dem was sich ein Segler unter einem Logbuch vorstellt.

Und sieht nach einem Datensammler aus... Ich mag keine Apps die am ersten screen meine Emailadresse wollen...

Promising work in progress
This seems to be the only boating log book with real time tracking of boat position using gps signal. Others require a manual fix or dont provide that feature at all. Saild does that very well allowing users to select the resolution of the log. The app itself does not do much more. The companion web site allows users to edit data. It is also a social network of sorts allowing users to share their logs. This app is half baked. Many features have not been implemented yet. For instance there is only a one way sync between the iPhone and site. There is no privacy setting allowing users to decide if they want to share their data. As a result, any site user can see in real time who is on the water and where. I think this totally unacceptable and not even very well disclosed. The application is free but the site seems to be subscription based. On the plus side, the Dev team is pretty responsive to emails. Lets hope they put their acts together and focus on developing a good log book without being distracted by trying to build yet another social network.
Easy, fun and informative
This app, while still working out some bugs, is fantastic! I love being able to start a log just before we untie the boat (trip) and stop it when Im back at the dock. I use it to track where we go and what we do while day-sailing an cruising, but I could see it being invaluable for race debriefing an seeing where improvements could be made. I love being able to write "blogs" about each trip. Years from now, Ill really enjoy going back and reading them... Or my kids will. Taking photos along the way and see where they were taken is very cool as well.
Worthless App
Arcane, stupid registration procedure. Never did get it to work. Zero cost; zero value. Dont waste your time.
