Description
Sansaire makes perfect sous vide cooking easy. The Sansaire app provides sous vide times and temperatures at your fingertips for your preferred doneness. The recipe section provides a broad variety of cooking ideas from fast, simple sous vide recipes to more complex options that will impress your dinner guests. The recipe filter options allow you to navigate to the foods you want. The Sansaire team continues to create new recipes and test customer recipes to include on the app. You’ll continue to find new culinary ideas to try at home.
The Sansaire app will also be the companion of Sansaire Delta that launched on Kickstarter in August 2016 and ships in early 2017. We designed simple set-up directly on the device, through this companion app, or a combination of both - whichever you are more comfortable with. To use the app for device set-up, simply select the food and doneness you want or a recipe and click “Send to Sansaire” to set your Sansaire device temperature and timer. The app also offers several device monitoring and notification features when paired with a Sansaire Delta device, including:
Cooking Progress
• Bath temperature and progress as it heats to the target temperature
• Cooking timer
Notifications
• Target temperature reached
• Minimum and maximum cooking time reached
• Water approaching minimum level
• Power lost to device during cooking
Other features
• Change doneness and /or thickness of food options, and see times & temperatures in a single view
• Switch between C and F for temperatures
• Pair to Sansaire 2 device over wi-fi,
• Unpair, allowing the app to pair to another Sansaire 2 device

WHAT IS SOUS VIDE?
Sous vide is a cooking method that uses precise temperature control to achieve perfect results, every time that you just can’t replicate through any other method. Foods are cooked evenly from edge to edge, to exactly the doneness you want. And, because foods won’t overcook while they hang out in the water bath, dinner is ready when you are. The world’s best chefs rely on sous vide, and now, you can too with a Sansaire immersion sous vide device and the Sansaire app.
Sous vide also has health benefits that can’t be achieve with other cooking methods. Vegetables maintain their nutrients and flavor that are lost with other methods of cooking such as steaming/boiling/pan frying. There are no added fats that are need to coat pans, unless you want to add them solely for flavor, which you can do in your sous vide bag.
