das war wirklich eine coole und praktische App als sie noch funktioniert hat. Leider scheint sich keiner die Mühe zu machen den BUG beim neuen IOS zu beheben. Die App geht kurz auf und verschwindet dann wieder. Sie ist zwar noch offen aber kann nicht mehr benutzt werden. Echt ärgerlich. Wenn sie nicht mehr Supporten wird, sollte sie eigentlich aus dem AppStore entfernt werden

There are many factors you have to pay attention to like:
• The temperature of your egg (fridge or room temperature)
• The size of your egg
• Your altitude (the pressure takes influence on the boiling temperature)
How does the Scientific Egg Timer work?
1. Go to the preference screen (info button) and set the temperature of your egg and the altitude of your current location.
2. Rezise the egg on the main screen by touching its bottom and pulling down until it has about the same size as the egg youre about to cook
3. Use the slider below to set the desired consistency
You can stop the timer anytime.
If you stopped and want to reset just shake your iPhone.
If you want the timer to go on press "Start".
When your egg is ready you will hear a chicken clucking until you press "Stop" or shake your iPhone.
What you get:
• Formula based on physical experiments and studies
• Automatic altitude setting by GPS (works only outdoors and with iPhone 3G)
• Animated rezising of the egg by touch
• Shake your egg to reset the timer or stop the alarm
• Chicken alarm
• Calculation in feet and meter
• All your settings will be saved so you dont have to reset them every time you want to cook an egg

Perfekt fürs Ei (-Phone)
Ich habe das Programm noch als "eggXactly" gekauft und bin wirklich fasziniert. Ich kannte die physikalische Formel für das perfekte Ei schon (Höhe der Kochstelle, Größe und Temperatur des Eis usw... ), aber wer misst das schon für ein simples Frühstücksei? Mit diesem Programm ist es kinderleicht. Das Ei-Phone (3G) sorgt für die Höhenangabe und die Größe des Eis selbst wird am Ei auf dem Display eingestellt. Alles in allem bekommt man ein perfektes Frühstücksei. Jetzt fehlt nur noch die Anleitung zum Abschrecken. ;) JL

Great app. Absolutely love it. Gave only 4 stars because you cant select different alarm sounds.
Funktioniert schon, aber nicht richtig
App läuft nur im Vordergrund. Sobald man zwischendurch was anderes macht, ist erst der Timer und dann das Ei futsch. Also nur sehr bedingt zu empfehlen.
