Amongst all the magazine subscriptions I have, I have to admit this the crappiest, most non-intuitive, unhelpful user interface there is out there. No app support. I have purchased the november and december issue but I have no access to them. My subscription starts from January 2013, but I have no,access to issues before April. No app support is provided either, so that left me with sharing my bad experience with other users.

Print/Digital issue is free and I have to pay for same in-app issues?!!!
I love TheScientist because it provides fantastic writing about science and because, despite the trend of every other magazine provider, they choose to disseminate in a free manner, both in print and digital format. I was even more psyched about the recent release of the iPad app version, thinking that now I would be liberated from carrying the mag around or using the digital reader. However, I am expected to pay $4 an issue for something that I can get in two other formats for free?!!!! What the heck? Shame on this pathetic ploy to get $$$! Not to mention the in-app functionality is only so-so. No rotate ability for horizontal viewing? I guess I wouldnt have a problem with the minute glitches, were the app free, but considering the hefty price tag for subscription or single issues, this is absurd and is directly contrary to what I thought TheScientists intention was, which is unbiased, FREE dissemination of info. This is a major letdown and taints an otherwise awesome periodical! Rectify please.
Good magazine but app could be better
No bookmark functions? Also the text resolution needs to be more clear!
Last 3 issues crash
Paid for a years subscription but the app stopped working about two months ago. Just opens then closes, how do you get support or a refund?
