Use this app to assemble and edit your sermon ideas quickly and upload them on the fly.

Heres how it works.

Select your sermon theme from any of over 300 categories and assemble the four parts of your sermon.

1. Use the topics module to select a fully customizable opening, drawing from life, current events and popular culture.

2. Use the exposition module to develop scripture expositions associated with your subject to save yourself time in preparing exegesis and life applications of the text. The full King James Version of the text is included as well as a logical and practical explanation of the text: background, setting, meaning and application to the subject. The expositions are fully customizable so you can add your own thoughts or modify the suggestions.

3. Use the points module to select talking points for you sermon that are fully customizable from a variety of subject areas.

4. Use the closings module to develop dynamic closings that drive home your point with power. The closings suggested are associated with your sermon subject. They are heavily alliterated, packed with metaphors, illustrations and biblical references to emphasize the main theme of your subject. Of course, they all point to Calvary. The closings are fully customizable so you can add your own thoughts or modify the suggestions.

When you finish assembling and editing the parts of your sermon, click compose and the entire document is assembled in a document that you can email to yourself or upload to Evernote or Google Docs.

The database is updated frequently and is drawn from the vast library of preaching illustrations, exposition, points and closings of the Roosevelt Wright, Jr. sermon library posted at sermonideas.com. A web version of this app, including more extensive tools is available at sermondeas.com.

Please feel free to use the documents you create to preach, reach and teach others. Citations or attributions are not expected or required.

The Roosevelt Wright, Jr. sermon idea library is the largest collection of sermons, illustrations and expositions from a single African-American pulpit in the world. The full collection is accessible at sermonideas.com

Awesome startup screen

But too bad thats it. It crashes on the startup screen. Glad its free or Id be more upset.

Salvation

Lots of little ideas to start lessons, but strangely absent was anything on baptism & very few on salvation.

Crash!

I cant get past the start up screen it keeps crashing!

Great idea....

Great idea for outlining sermons. The only problem is, as others have said, it will not move past the startup screen. Nice picture, then crash. Please fix or take down from app store. Its free, but a total waste of time. I give it one star for the idea only.

Working great!

Love this App! A very useful, informative, and valuable resource! If you are in ministry, this is a good tool to add to your library.

TERRIBLE

HORRIBLE APP! Dont waste your time.

Judge much?

Typographical errors and messages of hate abound on this app. I deleted it after trying to create a sermon on judging others and found too many "points" that did just that! This would be better if it didnt try to tell people what to believe and taught about loving one another and not hating any of our brothers and sisters n Christ.
