Description
simpleBMI lets you easily calculate your current BMI (Body Mass Index) as well as quickly see how weight and height changes effect it without the need for tedious number entry.
• simpleBMI allows input in either Metric, Imperial or a mix of both. E.g. Height in centimetres and Weight in pounds or Height in feet / inches and weight in Kilograms
BMI is a good general indicator of health however it is not perfect because it is only dependant on height and weight and it does not take into consideration different levels of adiposity based on age, physical activity levels and sex. For this reason it is expected that it overestimates adiposity in some cases and underestimates it in others.
