Can you sing in tune? Learn to sing (or play an instrument) accurately in tune with HotPaw Sing-inTunas color-coded pitch graph.
Sing-inTuna uses the built-in microphone on your iPhone or iPad to analyze and help you visualize if you are singing, or playing a musical instrument (such as a violin), precisely on the right pitch. It graphs pitch on a scrolling graph resembling a musical Grand Staff. Tones that are on-pitch (+-20 cents) are colored green; notes slightly sharp: red; notes a pinch flat: blue.
You can also display an optional pitch frequency spectrum of your voice to see your timbre.
Sing-inTuna requires a quiet environment with no accompaniment or harmony, and monophonic pitches that are at least a quarter second long. The pitch range using the built-in mic is about +-2 octaves from middle-C, depending on microphone use, loudness, and timbre.

Musique : un analyseur de hauteur
PERFEKT für Singlaien!
Kurzversion: Laut Keyboard erkennt es die Töne richtig. Man findet seine Tonlage, bekommt ein Gehör für den Gleichklang und lernt dabei noch Notenlesen :) --- Vorab: Ich habe Lust, minimal mit Singen anzufangen, bin (bzw war) mir aber total unsicher, ob ich überhaupt nen Ton treffe und ob ichs merke, wenn ich im Gleichklang mit nem Insturument bin. Erst habe ich gezögert: Keine Demo verfügbar, keine Rezensionen im Netz, und mit 8€ doch über der "Ach, kann man ja mal runterladen"-Schwelle. Dann doch gekauft. Erster Eindruck: P E R F E K T für jemanden wie mich!! Mit nem (Hardware) Keyboard getestet (iPhone4, internes Mikro): Scheint alle Töne richtig zu erkennen. Dann selber gesungen: Erstmal erstaunt, wie tief meine Stimmlage ist, also auf dem Keyboard weiter nach links gerutscht. Und dann in aller Ruhe: gesungen, Keyboard-Ton gedrückt - "ah, so muss sich also das zusammenklingen anhören!" Und weil man auch immer die Note im Notenschlüssel sieht, prägt man sich auch das Notationsystem (?) ein, lernt also automatisch nebenher Notenlesen. Obwohl ich die App erst seit einer halben Stunde habe, kann ich mir nun vorstellen, dass ich damit ein paar Wochen oder auch 1-2 Monate übe (je nachdem wie oft ichs halt mache ;) und mich dann traue, mich bei nem Chor anzumelden. Bislang war ich mir wie geschrieben viel zu unsicher und hätte wohl ansonsten Gesangsunterricht genommen. Also: Die 8 Eur waren alles andere als eine Fehlinvestition. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
Needs a sensitivity setting
His app is spotty even in a silent room or when using headphones as a mic. It charts so much garbage that isnt actually happening that its hard to discern if you are in tune.
