Does your baby wake up too early in the morning and cry for your attention? This app is your answer.
Sleep-in Baby works by giving your baby a visual (and audio if desired) cue as to when the day begins (on your schedule).
After a couple of practices, the baby will soon learn that only when the stars go and the sun rises (on the app) will a parent come to get them.
Its about routine and visual assurance. And it works - having been designed and tested by parents of a one-year-old.
Simply set the “Sun rise" or "Sleep-in time" for when you want your child to start sleeping until. You can set an audio sound (if desired) from your Music Library.
Before going to bed, place the iDevice where the baby can see it. The night sky will dim to save battery energy through the night. So will the ambient noise (if selected). NOTE: The app needs to stay open for the alarm to work. (You may want to dedicate an old iPad or iPhone so it can stay in the room plugged in).
Select "Auto brightness" off and dim the iDevice for best results.
It may (or may not) take a few times for the child to understand the routine, but stick at it if you want your morning sleep back!!
At first, you might want to try it close to the child’s current wake-up time and slowly extend it until you get the full sleep you want.
