Spells at your fingertips. Literally.

The Killer App for D&D v3.5 (d20) and Pathfinder RPG Gamers

SpellbookMaster for iPhone and iPad makes it easy to find Dungeons & Dragons v3.5 (d20) and Pathfinder spells fast and see detailed information for them.

You can browse spells by name, level, domain and class. For each class, see spells sorted by name or by level for easy access. Searching allows you to find spells by any search term.

To get you started, SpellbookMaster can automatically import d20 System Reference spells from www.systemreferencedocuments.org or Pathfinder reference spells from d20pfsrd.com. You can also import your own spells from text files.

Spellbooks can be shared among iPhones, iPod touches and iPads using the application. Spells can be edited on a Mac running SpellbookMaster for Mac 2.3, a free application, and then imported to the iOS app.

Satisfaisant

Great resource, but incomplete

This app is easy to use and a great resource for anyone who is playing a spell caster in 3.5e D&D or pathfinder. However I had to knock it down 2 stars due to its incomplete nature in lacking spells from expanded source books like the Spell compendium.

Works well, lots of information

Spells are broken into Spells, Schools, Levels, and Classes, which is helpful. Choosing between d20 or Pathfinder spellbooks is also helpful. The search is fast and the search results show classes and levels for the spell. Is it worth $7 more than Spells 2.08? As a new player, I dont think so.

Not cheap, but...

What makes this app better than the others I own (and thus worth more to me) is the FREE Mac app that integrates with it. I find it easy to make lists of spells for individual characters and sync them with my iPad. If the price bothers you, try the Mac app and see if you like it. The iPad app also works well with VoiceOver (important for having your device read out the details to you or everyone playing). I would like to see more scope for nanaging spells while you are playing, but Im not sorry I bought this app.

Great, but lacks custom lists. :)

Very nice and complete :) It would be great to create spell lists: as is, it is a great reference but you need to lookup every spell in a long list.

Crap

Waste of 8$. Links dont download spell books right

INVALUEBLE!

This app is worth every penny for DMs with spell casters. note:you need to connect to a wi-fi network to download all the PHB spells from the Wizards site by using a link on the app once you have downloaded them itll work. Thx for the update!
