Pilates Fisios® Spine Rehab is the reference tool for all professional therapists who use the Pilates method in the rehabilitation of the spine.
It includes 47 total exercises plus modifications for low back pain, degenerative diseases (osteoporosis, stenosis, spondylolisthesis, osteoarthritis), pre and post spinal surgery, scoliosis. For every disease there is a specific detailed section with general information: causes, symptoms, classification, the most commonly used evaluation scales, therapeutic goals, precautions, rehabilitation phases and a protocol of exercises for the acute and sub-acute phases. For each exercise there is a detailed description of its execution, of the therapist assistance to apply at each stage and a detailed section outlining the specific therapeutic objectives of the exercise, the key points to observe during the exercise, the contraindications and the precautions. You can also find the possible modifications to perform the exercise if you dont have Pilates equipment or to allow the patient to perform the prescribed exercises at home.
