I can carry my daily devotions with me to work every day...
Very encouraging.
This provides a picture of Gods faithfulness everyday. I especially like the email feature.

Love the notes feature I made it into a prayer journal. Have found the devotional encouraging and helpful. Also bought my utmost - have read it before & doing it again thru iPod.
Changed My Life
I used to sit around. I called myself a Christian. I thought, "Ah, I guess Ill believe God is real. If it gets me to heaven." One day I heard a question, "Whats the difference between us and demons? They believe God is real." I shook it off and forgot about it. I needed a devotional, so I thought Id buy it. After a week it radically changed my life. Im now an active Christian thanks to this awesome app!
Good but stands improvement.
Reminder would be nice with an auto goto. Voice read would be nice.
Make it part of your "workflow"
Workflow is a popular term for lots of techies these days and I make Spurgeons Faith Devotional part of mine. A friend gave the app to me as a gift on the iPhone and I later added it to my iPad where the worflow really came to life. I go from the devotional to my Tecarta NIV in iPad and paste in the devotional text as a margin note (re the copyright note in the update, Ive not seen where copy paste wasnt supported). For me, much like physically taking notes, the act of doing this while I read (in both places) triggers stronger understanding and memory.
