St John Ambulance is determined that no one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it.

This app includes the latest first aid advice and protocols for dealing with emergency situations. It is simple to follow with illustrated guides and voiced instructions.

The app doesn’t replace the benefits of learning first aid on a St John Ambulance course, nor is it as in depth as a full first aid manual. But when there is an emergency, it will help you to know what to do to in those few crucial moments when basic knowledge of first aid can make the difference.

Nothing is more tragic than a life lost needlessly. You can be the difference between life and death.

Please note: The first aid advice is based solely upon UK protocols. Both the UK and European emergency service numbers are provided.

Very good

First Aid

Excellent program user friendly

Useful even if your certified!!!

This is very well done! The pictures are clear and they have everything brokendown into steps so in an emergency it would be so easy to use. At first I wasnt sur if I liked the voice that reads the text instructions but then i thought about if I was in an emergency and I was by my self the voice would be so helpful especially if you were doing CPR. There are lots of other info for burns and cuts. All I know is that I have been certified twice by st. Johns and if you dont practice you forget all the steps! With this app it makes it so easy remember. Also I dont travel with the textbook they give you- but I DO travel with my iPhone everywhere!! Bottom line: invaluable!!! It is worth the money!!!! You will spend more on games and this can help you save someones life!

Good Reference

I have been First Aid attendant for 14 years (level 2). I downloaded this while I was renewing my ticket. This obviously does not replace the textbook, but for simple reference. Good for Level 1 or no first aid experience at all. Basic detail with pictures. It is missing lots of steps if you want to do it by THE BOOK. It would be nice if you can edit steps to add things based on the detail you require. Especially for paying $3.99.

everyone should have

exellent app, should be pre installed.easy to use in a panic situation and great just to review every so often!! thanks st johns

UK only

St John Ambulance is good application. Information for Emergency Services is 999 or 112. Here in North America (CANADA is 911 for ambulance. Also this application is from UK.

a must have

It should be mentionned clearly that this app if from the UK, since the emergency phone numbers are not the same everywhere (Im in Canada). Would be nice also to have a french version. But this is for sure a kind of app that everyone should have, even if you hope never to have to use it. You never know when you could be confronted to an emergy situation. I really like the way its presented: clear, easy steps to follow with pictures, even has a voice telling you what to do in some cases. Nice job!
