There are several issues with this game: Luck is playing too big of a part in this game. It can destroy your strategy with just one event. Each game is too short. Its not enough time to gain trading momentum. You loose your ship upgrades from one game to the next. You need to spend real money to be able to buy them again. Really guys??? Are you that greedy? All in all it could be a great strategy game but needs a lot of tweaks to be really enjoyable

Meh

Decent concept, mild execution. Addictive enough, but minimal strategic follow through.

Not worth the time or money...

Given the way the game is implemented, you get only a few turns to trade, then can spend in game credits ( real money ), to get more fuel or end your game. Events are random, very little trading skill involved, only three locations to trade with. you use credits to use better ships, which does carry over... This app just seems like a way to get you to spend lots of real money.., on top of the $2.99 base price... Very sad.

Addictive if you give it a chance

I am editing my review to reflect the fact that I dont seem to be able to stop playing this game. All of my complaints below are still valid, but something about the look of the interface, and the way it encourages you to use the iPad interface, and the lulling drone of the music ... all combines to turn it into a sort of zen/slot-machine experience that is very hard to put down. After playing the non-HD version, I was tempted by the claim of more planets. However, it turns out this does not mean you maneuver between a larger number of worlds - just that theres a larger database of planet names that are randomly assigned to the three worlds on your map screen. The graphics are crisper and theres music, but I really wanted four or six planets to travel between, or at least a little more variability in prices so that there would more often be a decent reason to go to the right side of the map. As the game works now, you pretty much just go back and forth between two planets on the right, mostly trading the medium-price cargo. Everything else is purely random.

Wont even launch!!!!
