Zu viel versprochen, enttäuschend
Ob der Datenschutz eingehalten wird, kann ich nicht kontrollieren. Hoffen wir es mal. Die angezeigten Suchergebnisse weichen allerdings definitiv stark (sind schlechter) von denen ab, die die Google App liefert, auch wenn diese erst frisch installiert wurde und noch keinerlei Nutzerdaten enthält. Zudem ist die Werbung zu prominent platziert und wird dazu noch mit einer kurzen Zeitverzögerung angezeigt, nach der die Suchergebnisse nach unten verschoben werden - vom Nutzer ungewolltes Antippen (offenbar von Startpage gewollt) ist vorprogrammiert. Grafisch ist die App auf dem Stand von iOS 5 oder 6 und was soll diese Bildschirmaufteilung überhaupt, bei der der Appname nutzlos die Hälfte der Anzeigefläche einnimmt? Nice try, aber leider unausgereift.
Auf dem PC top, auf dem Smartphone (noch) Flop
Auf dem PC funktioniert startpage hervorragend! Da jedoch immer mehr mobil recherchiert wird, ist eine Verbesserung der maroden startpage-App unabdingbar. Es dauert schlichtweg viel zu lange bis man Ergebnisse erhält. Bitte nachbessern!
