the hotkey to call it made it for me!!!
i use logic pro to practice guitar and its tuner is horrible. This one is really useful because you can assign a hotkey to instantly call it and it`s very precise too. I liked it!!!
Toller Tuner im Mac!
Ein wunderbares App! Ich habe meine Ukulele und Westerngitarre fix und präzise am Mac gestimmt. Eine tolle Idee, da der Mac ja immer irgendwie in der Nähe ist. Neben der Automatikfunktion kann man auch gezielt Stimmungen für eine Vielzahl von Saiteninstrumenten (u.a. auch Banjo, Cello, Geige und Violine) auswählen. Perfekt! Mein Tuner bleibt im Koffer.

Top Tuner, Zum Stimmen mehrerer Saiteninstrumente unverzichtbar. Immer griffbereit dank Menüleiste und sagenhafte Genauigkeit. Ein Danke an den Entwicklern!
Essential !!!!!!!
Super Tool !!!! Mehr gibt es eigentlich nicht zu sagen. Das Teil funktioniert einfach und ist wirklich präzise. Habe es mit High Tech Equipment abgeglichen und keine Abweichung festgestellt. Und es läuft immer fein und unauffällig im Hintergrund. Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag (kein Punktabzug deswegen): Macht das Icon mal fit für den Darkmode !!!!!! Alle anderen Apps schalten automatisch um, nur der Tuner nicht. Und da er bei mir ständig läuft, wäre das schon wünschenswert.

It works well but for an $8 app it could and should be more robust. Agile’s Guitar Toolkit for iOS shows the developer certainly knows how to make a GREAT app. For example, unlike Guitar Toolkit, Steadytune comes with a limited selection of tunings and *users cannot add custom tunings or rename tunings*. Fingerstyle guitar players use all sorts of alternate tunings and the included selection is by no means complete. For example CGDGAD (“Low C”) isn’t included. In addition, in Yosemite’s new dark mode, Steadytune’s menubar icon is reduced to about 3 white pixels. Invisible.
Simple and easy to use
It’s my go to for tuning my unstruments before I record on my DAW / Home Studio. You can also set a hot key in the preferences for when you’re ready to tune. I find that very useful. Example: My hot key = CTL T - when I press that, it pops up waiting to tune my instrument(s).
