Would your child (or even you ;-) like to improve your times tables? My daughter did, so I created Tables Trainer.
It helps you learn your times tables through the tried and testing rote method, i.e. repetitive practice over and over.
You practice in short burst of 10 questions at a time, with 10 seconds to answer each question. The questions are initially random. However as you train and improve, the questions your are not so good at remembering, will come up more often.
While I cant guarantee that the user of my app will become a guru at times tables (unless you keep using it all the time!), I do know that it definitely improves your ability. My daughter improved within the first couple of goes, she was already remembering questions, like the dreaded 7x9 and 8x12.
Give it a go and see if you also see an improvement.
