TaskPaper – Plain text to-dos at App Store analyse

Ich bin seit anderthalb Wochen TaskPaper-Nutzer, doch kann jetzt schon sagen: Diese Software ist überragend. Wer dem Konzept (einfacher strukturierter Text als ToDo-List) folgen möchte, findet hier eine mächtige Aufgabenverwaltung. Während ich Things als klassische Aufgabenverwaltung auf dem Mac und unter iOS verwende ("Werkstatt anrufen", "Bahnticket buchen“), nutze ich TaskPaper, um größere Projekte mit zahlreichen Unteraufgaben zu strukturieren und Gedanken dazu festzuhalten. Wann etwas ansteht, ist mir dabei nicht so wichtig, auch wenn TaskPaper mit Tags durchaus die Möglichkeit zur zeitlichen Sortierung bietet (@Today). Die App ist stabil und kann ausnahmslos über Tastatur bedient werden (toll!). Wer ein bisschen Farbe möchte, findet zahlreiche Themes vor, die auch anstehendes hervorheben. Da die Dateien, in denen TaskPaper speichert, mit jedem Editor gelesen werden können, kann man sie auch einfach in der Dropbox oder iCloud speichern und über Dritt-Anbieter-Apps im Todo-Listen-Stil (etwa Editorial für iOS) darauf zugreifen. Funktioniert gut. Die Community ist lebendig, selbst das Support-Forum ist schön umgesetzt (à la StackExchange). Hilfe gibt es innerhalb von wenigen Stunden oder gar Minuten. Der Entwickler legt Wert auf ein mächtiges, aber einfaches Programm und ein solches sieht man hier verwirklicht. Großes Kino.

Very easy to start a project, increase complexity, break down more complex tasks into subtasks, add notes, etc. Tags, due dates make it full flagged to-do manager. Even having many other to-do apps on both Mac and iOS devices, I find it very appealing to do a project in TaskPaper. There are many iOS apps that work with plain text .taskpaper format. Highly recommend this app - it is a pleasure to use.

TaskPaper 3 is the program I always hoped Taskpaper would be - syncing via Dropbox/iCloud (instead of its own service), folding outlines, scriptable - all while retaining the great looks and the portability of plain text of the original. It’s simple to use, but there’s a boat-load of power here if you dig into it. If you love outlining (and who doesn’t!?!) this is the best of the lightweight list makers.

単純なアウトラインエディタのようだが、タグを含め全てキーボード上で操作できるので思考の妨げにならない。 folding・focusできるので項目がいくら増えても編集内容に集中でき、複雑な検索ができるので見つけ出すのも容易。 マインドマップでは収まらない数のアイデアを整理したい人にはおすすめです。 ライブラリ機能と、暗いテーマがあればなお良い。

Совершенно бесполезна для ведения проекта. Так как таски без напоминаний и по самому своему формату не имеют возможности ранжирования по шкале времени. Но очень удобно для составления туду листов. Например, список покупок или туду лист при написании кода. При использовании как списка покупок — дополняется editorial. То есть, это не must have приложение, но удобный инструмент в своем роде задач.
