Tek Kit XL is the addictive dance music app that lets you create amazing techno beats in real time.
Tek Kit XL has the edge; allowing beat mixing and high quality DJ effects.
Everything is manipulated in real time, giving you the ability to create those hypnotic flows. Create beats on two drum step sequencers using high quality stereo samples from classic drum machines including the 808 and 909.
Mix with the DJ Mixer and tweak those sounds with the x-y touch pad controlling the effects to create the perfect mix.
Mixer:
DJ Mixer with independent volume control of the two drum machine sequencers. Crossfader for fades and cuts.
Effects:
- Flanger
- Tempo Delay
- Bit Reduction / Down Sample
- Low Pass Filter
- Phaser
Effects pad is an x-y style controller which controls two real time parameters. Effects can be applied to one or both channels. This allows greater flexibility, an uplifting flanged beat overlaid with a bass heavy kickdrum.
Step Sequencer:
Other apps let you create 4 or 8 bar sequences, with Tek Kit XL you can create sequences that are as long as you like. Create an entire track, not just a couple of bars. Sequences are assigned a color and when two or more sequences of the same color are after each other playback loops through each of them. This makes it possible to create endless stream of electro mayhem.
Large collection of samples optimised for the iPhone. Sample set will be increased with every update. Classic 16 step sequencer style programming, updated in real time.
