Très bonne application. Si bien dautres applications donnent des modèles à suivre pour nouer sa cravate, lusage de la webcam donne vraiment limpression davoir un guide en surimpression sur un miroir. Et les commandes vocales sont vraiment très pratiques !

Using the camera of your computer, TieCam makes it really easy to tie a tie. With TieCam you can see directly in your reflection how to tie the perfect tie knot. All you have to do is to bring yourself into the right position and follow the instruction which TieCam will give you.
TieCam includes eleven different knot types you can choose from:
* Windsor
* Half Windsor
* Pratt
* Four in Hand
* Small Knot
* Cavendish
* Balthus
* Victoria
* Plattsburgh
* Saint Andrew
* Kent
Additional tying instructions can can be bought for the following knot types via In-App Purchase:
* Bow Tie
* Grantchester
* Hanover Knot
For each knot type TieCam will show you a sequence of sub-steps which you have to imitate in your reflection. There are three different ways for you to control when the next sub-step is displayed:
* Control TieCam by noise recognition in order to have both hands free while tying the knot. If you are ready for the next sub-step, then just make a noise (e.g. a loud word, cough or whistle) and TieCam will proceed.
* Select timer control and TieCam will use a countdown for each sub-step. You can configure the length of the countdown depending on your skills
* Select manual control if you want to use your trackpad, mouse or the arrow keys to control the sequence of the sub-steps
Note: TieCam needs a camera in order to work properly. Please assure that your Mac provides an external or build-in camera (such as FaceTime or iSight camera) before you choose to buy TieCam. If you want to use noise recognition, a microphone has to be connected to your Mac.

Oh wie schön! Spieglein, Spieglein ...
Eine super gelungene Hilfe, toll umgesetzt. Damit wird das Abenteuer "Kravatte binden" für alle "Krawatten-Gelegenheits-Träger" sehr erleichtert. Es gibt zusätzlich gute Tips zu den einzelnen Knoten und Schritten, was nicht zuletzt animiert, auch mal einen neuen Knoten zu probieren. Die ebenfalls mögliche Steuerung per Geräusch/Ton, um zum nächsten Schritt zu gehen, ist durchdacht, weil dann beide Hände an der Kravatte bleiben können, bis der Knoten fertig gebunden ist. Weil ich quasi immer vor dem seltenen Kravatte binden im Internet nach einer Anleitung suche, spare ich nun Zeit, da ich direkt loslege und auch noch viele Knoten zur Auswahl habe. Für mich, der eh oft das Gefühl hat, wegen des reichlich spiegelnden iMac Displays, vor einem Spiegel zu sitzen, eine prima Ergänzung ;-)
Endlich nicht mehr vorknoten lassen ...
Bisher musste ich mir bei verschiedenen Gelegenheiten Krawattenknoten immer vorknoten lassen … damit ist jetzt Schluss. Eine echte Erleichterung, die auf Anhieb funktioniert und seinen Zweck zu 100% erfüllt.
Elegant UND praktisch!
Diese App bietet einem eine praktische und obendrein noch sehr elegante Hilfestellung beim Binden der wichtigsten Krawattenknoten. Die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten, sich die nächsten Schritte beim Knoten anzeigen zu lassen (Geräusche als Signal zum Weitermachen, Klicken/Pfeiltasten oder Timer), zeugen davon, dass sich jemand wirklich Gedanken gemacht hat, wie man die App am besten bedienen kann. Für solch eine gelungene Präsentation und Funktion gibt es völlig verdiente fünf Sterne und eine Empfehlung an jeden, der mit dem Binden von Krawattenknoten so seine liebe Not hatte bzw. sein Repertoire an Knoten erweitern möchte.
