Description
The iOS version of the world-renowned TENORI-ON brings you a completely new musical interface.
Even if you do not have any musical knowledge, you can create music intuitively by "placing" sounds on the 16 x 16 button grid that are performed musically and visually.
On the 16 x 16 grid, time is represented horizontally, while the pitch is represented vertically.
Both rythm and melody are combined on the grid to create music.
When the sound is played, the buttons flash which also provides a stimulating visual performance.
Up to 16 tones can be played simultaneously (16 layers), and it can store up to 16 song patterns in memory (16 blocks), which can be activated during a performance in real time to produce a rich variety of musical expressions.
There are six different performance modes for each layer:
- Basic score mode: time is on the horizontal axis and pitch is on the vertical axis
- Random mode: Sounds are played in the order that they were entered, and rotating the device produces a cascade of changing melodies and rythms for your enjoyment
- Draw mode: Sounds are played in response to dragging your finger on the grid, like drawing a picture
- Bounce mode: Sounds are produced when the lights fall, just like a bouncing ball
- Push mode: Continuously change the tones as you perform
- Solo mode: Easily change the speed and pitch to play as a soloist
First, have fun with the demo version. Just changing between blocks gives you the feeling of a real performance.
Load the demo:
(Touch the display) Top Memo -> File Menu -> All Blocks -> iD -> Xtra_uncTK -> Load
TNR-is attraction is not just its faithful reproduction of the TENORI-ON feel or Toshio Iwais design and interface.
TNR-i can connect friends and other TNR-i users via a network connection for session performance.
Up to four people can perform music together over the network.

Du très bon .....
Une très bonne interface, et des modes de jeux assez fun .... Le seul point négatif est limpossibilité (pour linstant) dimporter ses propres samples et la qualité des sons qui est moyenne. Some new sounds, please !!!! Une bonne appli malgré tout pour découvrir ce superbe engin. Mon pseudo pour jouer en réseau "ensisheim" sayônara
Incomplet...
Appli sympa pour découvrir le Tenori-on. Mais les sons étant plus ou moins identiques limitent un peu la créativité. Triturer les sons internes et limportation de samples sont les principaux manques !!!! Une MAJ, PLEASE.
Lapplication plante
Lappli se ferme quand elle est en plein jeu et que le menu est ouvert pour un accès aux sons...
Grandiose!
Merci pour la Maj ,maintenant cest un tenori-on à 100% ,mais pourquoi ne pas ajouter plus duser voice :16 par exemple ...mais bon cest déjà génial je le conseille vivement ,il est nettement mieux et plus créatif que toutes les copies présente sur appstore.
Une bonne surprise
Jai hésité avant de lacheter. Javais deja (acheté et) essayé Aurora (tres puissant, mais peut-etre un peu trop), SoundGrid (pas tres puissant mais tres sympa) et dautres nettement moins bien (voir nuls : Sequence, ToneMatrix, Melodica, etc) dans le genre grille à la Tenori-On. Javais donc un a priori : "Encore une appli un peu inutilisable, pas précise sur la grille et avec trop de menus". Finalement, en fait, TNR-i est tres bien pensé et permet daller à lessentiel en peu de temps, et les touches du bas (L R) sont finalement pratiques. De plus, les sons dusines sont sympas. Pour le reste, cest du Tenori et les plusieurs modes (score, draw, etc) sont une tres bonne idée, le tout donne limpression davoir été vraiment étudié (pour etre ergonomique), ce qui est rare. Plus de 15euros donc, mais qui les valent sans peine.

Je trouve ça très compliqué pour un résultat pas extra.
