Bin richtig sauer
Also nach der Suchen nach einer App mit der ich mein Mediacenter steuern kann, bin ich auf diese App gestoßen. Nach langen Überlegen habe ich die 3.99 € ausgeben. Nach etwa 2 Stunden habe ich nicht nur das Geld rausgeworfen sondern auch die Zeit verschleudert. Hier stimmt einfach alles nicht. Die App hängt sich auf wenn sie den Server nicht findet. Nur der Homebutton hilft. Um die App neu zu konfigurieren, musste ich sie wieder deinstallieren und neu installieren. Nach dem der Server endlich lief, musste ich dann noch feststellen das ich noch mal 1.59 zahlen dürfte, damit die App mit dem Media Center läuft. Aber jetzt ist Schluss :-( Die Arbeit mit dem IR Sender spare ich mir. Ich bin wirklich verwundert,wie es eine solche App in den Store schafft. Kurz und knapp, spart euch euer Geld und eure Nerven. FINGER WEG !!!!!!!!
Sehr viel Potential
Ich habe einige andere Apps probiert, diese bietet mit Abstand das beste Potential für die Steuerung eines HTPC Mediacenters incl. Receiver und Flatpanel. Der Entwickler ist sehr engagiert. Es ist sehr viel konfigurierbar, die Oberfläche komplett selbst designbar. Ich bediene mein Mediacenter damit und es funktioniert sehr gut. Ich hoffe jetzt noch auf Support für network enabled Geräte (wie einige Denon Receiver), dann wird es perfekt!
Funktionen - top, Usability - flop
Die App bietet umfangreiche Möglichkeiten und ist sehr vielfältig, ohne gute Softwarekenntnisse oder zumindest viel Wille und Zeit jedoch schlecht nutzbar. Die Usability ist echt mies, schlechtes Nutzerinterface, umständliche Programmierung und eine sehr dürftige Homepage. Man merkt, dass es sich um Programmierer handelt, die Technik lieben, aber keine Ahnung haben wie man das so einfach gestalltet, wie das ein durchschnittlicher Apple-Nutzer erwartet. Man kann durchaus ein paar Stunden einrechnen, bis alles wie gewünscht funktioniert... Für Personen mit mäßigen Computerkenntnissen nicht geeignet.
Hohes Potential
Zugegeben der Einstieg ist etwas holprig aber danach bietet die App im Gegensatz zu anderen Apps aus diesem Genre ungeahnte Möglichkeiten. Der Support im Forum ist kaum zu toppen, Verbesserungsvorschläge werden gerne gehört und umgesetzt. Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich ein paar Vorschläge geposted, heute habe ich eine Beta mit genau diesen umgesetzt bekommen. Sorry besser kann man es nicht machen. Und an alle die gleich aufgeben und dann ne schlechte Bewertung reinknallen: Ein bisschen Zeit muss man halt investieren.. die App kann echt was. Keep it on Dave !! Chris

Home-Automation wird so schnell nicht für Computer-Analphabeten geeignet sein. Wer aber das Know-How, etwas Ausdauer und die passende Hardware besitzt, der bekommt hier für ein Taschengeld ein Wahnsinnstool. Vergleichbare Produkte kosten ungleich mehr und sind auch nicht einfacher in der Anwendung. Danke für dieses tolle Programm!
