Description
Trace Tuner is a simple but accurate chromatic tuner. In contrast to similar apps, you will not get the look and feel of a hardware tuner with a slow and damped needle. Instead, you will see the trace of your tuning over the last five seconds. By this, the reaction of the tuner can be faster and more accurate, but still gives you the feeling for your tuning.
To keep it simple, only the neccessary features are implemented:
● Frequency spectrum to check your input
● The concert pitch of 440Hz can be variied
in 1Hz steps
● Choose your favorite notation
(English, German, Solfège)
● Support for transposing instruments
The tuner works with the build in microphone of the iPhone. For the iPod touch you will need an external microphone.

Gnadenlos
Wer ein Blasinstrument spielt, kennt das: erst einmal einen Ton sauber halten! Natürlich hört man das, aber es ist doch ganz praktisch, sich das auch mal mit einem Stimmgerät anzusehen. Und mit diesem App kann man endlich sehen, ob man den Ton wirklich hält. Und zwar gnadenlos genau... Praktisch, dass ich fürs Saxofon sogar die Stimmlage einstellen kann.
Ein gutes Stimmgerät (auch für Bass)
Ich habe schon viele Stimmgeräte auf meinem iPod Touch gehabt, und keines davon war für Bässe geeignet. Dieses nun schon. Man kann die Saiten sehr präzise stimmen und die Anzeige der Tonabweichung ist auch mal was neues :). Interessant ist auch noch das Frequenz-Spektrum; selbst wenn nur mein PC läuft (und der ist schon sehr leise) wird der Ton registriert und angezeigt. Was mich aber nervt (deshalb nur 4 Sterne) ist das ständige Springen der Tuner-Anzeige zwischen Tönen, die eine ähnliche Frequenz haben. Da ich aber darüber hinweg sehe, kann ich sagen, dass sich diese App für jeden lohnt, der nicht immer sein Stimmgerät aber sein(en) iPod/iPad/iPhone dabei hat.

Besser als ich es mir erwartet hab. Und besser als ne gekaufte Version. Top! Empfehlenswert für umsonst ;) @ Ben: wer lesen kann ist klar im Vorteil ;) da steht für iPod ist ein Mic nötig. iPhone hat es halt integriert ;)
