Tril is adressing something not many apps are doing and its doing it right. Asking "whats next, what should I listen to or watch" to friends is something Ive always done but it doesnt happen as often as Id like to. Tril helps me do that and have fun while Im at it.

They just give you a rating based on the aggregation of data from a lot of users you don’t know. Even when they use a social graph, it’s based on social network friends that you don’t necessarily share taste with.

What foursquare couldnt do Tril does
Finally an app that helps me find restaurants, bars, movies and music that my friends actually like and experience. I never trusted general reviews for restaurants ir bars since not everyone has my taste, but with Tril I can choose who amog ny friends or other trilers Share my tastes and follow them and their lists of trils. That works wonders for me ! It also helps me have a list of all the things I like so I can easily share it with whoever asks for advice.
