Tari’ak (طريقك) is the simplest most reliable app to learn about real-time traffic conditions in Lebanon.
Avoid traffic jams, delays, and stress by learning about which roads have traffic jams and which are open.
How it Works

Tari’ak uses smartphones from around you as traffic sensors by sensing speeds of devices in automotive motion.
Traffic reporting happens passively and does not require any effort from your end.
Smart Interface

- Animated traffic lines indicate the average vehicle speed and direction on each road.
- Traffic density by color. Red lines show traffic jams, orange ones indicate medium traffic, and green lines represent open roads.
- Advanced map with features like pitching to change camera angle, pinching to zoom, locking on the user location (great when driving), and switching between satellite and standard viewing modes.
- Roads are sorted by proximity with and can be searched for in any language.
- Tap on any street to see where it is on the map.
- Multi-lingual interface available in English, Arabic, French and Armenian.

Tari’ak takes full care in preserving your battery life by intelligently using the GPS only upon need. The app turns on Location Services for a short while only when you move a significant distance, meaning it will not consume any battery power if your phone is sitting on a desk for example. Mobile data use is also very minimal.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
Complete Privacy

While Tari’ak does measure your iPhone’s speed and location when it is in automotive transport (like a moving car or bus,) it does not collect any personal information about you, the user, or any data that can be linked to you as an individual.
The app does not ask for any of your name, e-mail, phone number, or social media accounts. No registration or login is required to use the app.
