Description
The application, the official guide to the Galleria degli Uffizi, offers the basic and in-depth information you need to visit the museum. It is also a useful educational tool for those who want to know more about this world famous museum. Developed by Giunti Editore in cooperation with the Soprintendenza Speciale per il Polo Museale Fiorentino, this easy to use guide consists of four main sections (Guide, Map, Masterpieces and Info).
The Guide section is divided into six categories:
•Exhibition Rooms - the works of art in each room.
•Periods - all the artworks grouped by historical period.
• Artists - the complete list of the artists, with a biography of the great masters.
• Masterpieces - the twelve most important works in the Galleria, with a description, zoomable high resolution image and notes on the most significant details.
• Selected Works - images of over one hundred among the most outstanding works of art, with thorough descriptions.
•List of artworks on display - the complete catalogue of all the works of art on display.
The interactive map permits virtual access to the rooms according to the itinerary each visitor chooses to follow inside the museum.
The Information section tells you everything you need to know about the museum’s opening times, ticket prices, how to get there, notes about the history of the Uffizi and a user manual.

Tanti quadri, moltissime informazioni
Ho scaricato questa applicazione e laltra disponibile (quando era gratuita). Questa guida ufficiale mi sembra più completa. Molte più opere descritte, immagini dei capolavori assai più dettagliati (in alcune si vedono le imperfezioni della tela!!!).
Bella da vedere e da leggere
Facile da consultare e ricca di informazioni, comodissima per una visita agli Uffizi (di persona o a casa).

Molto semplice da consultare in tutte le sue parti, graficamente molto gradevole. Devo dire che mi aspettavo degli approfondimenti un po più ricercati, ma nel complesso unapplicazione ben fatta.

Eccellente interfaccia!
Veramente ottimo luso delle tipiche funzioni iPhone/iPod! Molte applicazioni, per quanto ricche di contenuti, sono carenti dal punto di vista dellinterfaccia, cosa che non succede con questa guida ufficiale. Spero vivamente in una versione nativa iPad per poter ammirare ancora meglio i capolavori e leggere in modo più gustoso gli approfondimenti (molto utile poterli visualizzare direttamente mentre si "toccano" i capolavori). Tutto molto ben fatto, mi è venuta voglia di andare a Firenze, magari anche per una bella mangiata. :)
