I Dalmata United Spots
L’affisso nasce in Svizzera nel 1992 quando ho già i miei primi cani: J.Indiana Les Berges du Lèman (INDI) ed Unika Les Berges du Lèman. Certo la scelta della lingua inglese per un affisso è un po’ particolare, ma c’è una ragione per ogni cosa. Il lavoro di mio marito ci portava a cambiare paese ogni 3-4 anni e quindi United Spots aveva in sé qualcosa di internazionale e sarebbe stato più facilmente identificabile . E poi il mio desiderio era che tutti i “punti” (spots) – inteso come dalmata – del mondo fossero “uniti” (united) e da qui la decisione di dare al mio allevamento il nome di UNITED SPOTS.

The Affix of the FCI was given to me in Switzwerland in 1992 when I had already my first couple: J. Indiana Les Berges du Lèman (INDI) and Unika Les Berges du Lèman. Certainly the choice of the english language for an affix is a little strange, but there is a reason for everything. In fact my husband’s work was taking us around the world every 3-4 years. United Spots had a world wide meaning and would have been internationally recognized. And, to be honest, my desire was that all the “spots”-meaning dalmatians – of the world would be “united” . This is the main reason why I chose this affix for my dalmatians.
