Description
On Election Day, November 6, 2012 from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Vanderburgh County Election Office will begin using Vote Centers in place of polling places. In the past, a voter could only vote at his/her polling location however, now voters will be able to vote at one of any of the 15 Vote Centers located throughout the City of Evansville. The Vanderburgh County Election Office has worked with Mark Rolley Consulting, Inc. to develop this iPhone application that, via your mobile device GPS, can show where the voter is located as well as nearby Vote Centers. These apps also provide current wait times for nearby vote centers so that voters may minimize their wait.
Vanderburgh County is the only county to date to have such a valuable tool for our voters and their busy schedules. We encourage you to go to http://www.vanderburghvotecenters.com for the desktop version as well as for more information. We appreciate any feedback.
