Vidoco creates ongoing video stories which imitate the memory of a real-life experience.
Vidoco automatically merges short video moments you shoot with your phone with the subtitle you input to describe the context of each moment.
Vidoco also shows time and location shifts between moments to create a seamless flow of your stories.
You start by deciding what you will document, may it be your cool job, your new baby, your trip to Thailand or your culinary adventures. Each time you capture a new moment in your life, it’s added to one of your stories, along with the time, date and location and a subtitle which gives a brief synopsis of what we see.
Although not particularly interesting had they been shared on their own through social media, many of the videos you shoot are meaningful when put into a context; Vidoco does just that - it creates a story in which your mobile videos fit like puzzle pieces. The context is created through the sequence of the videos, the location and time at which they are shot, as well as through the background that you share for each of your video moments.
