Q: Why do I get strange answers to my question?
A: Voice Answer will first check its knowledge servers, including Wikipedia and Wolfram Alphas award winning service, for an answer. If these dont respond, either because the answer is unavailable or the servers are down, the chatbot will answer the question. These answers are generally more funny than useful. You can avoid strange answers by disabling the chatbot, and try your question later. We are further enhancing our current data sources with additional databases as these become available, as we want to offer our customers the very best.
Q: What do I do when voice answer doesnt understand my voice?
A: Voice Answer compares your voice against a database of spoken english words and sentences. It works better for some people than for others. In general it works better than the voice recognition used by many other apps, but it depends on your accent. Try to speak slow and use regular sentences. If this doesnt work, you can use the keyboard. As and when better voice recognition algorithms are developed and become available, we can and will plug these in.
Q: The app crashes. What can I do?
A: On some devices such as the iPad1 or 3GS, it may sometimes be required to do a hard reset to get it to work. If this fails, removing the app and installing it again will generally get it going. We are working on improving the stability on those devices.

Gut informiert
Voice Answer steckt so gut die alle anderen Assistants in die Tasche. Ebenso wie Siri (und im Gegensatz zu zu Evi, ...) zeigt Voice Anger nützliche Bilder, wie etwa Klimadiagramme oder Fotos. Die Spracherkennung funktioniert richtig gut, wenn man schön und schnell Englisch reden kann. Und das ist auch manchmal das Problem für einige. Daher wäre ein Voice Answer in deutscher Sprache wünschenswert. Wie schön erwähnt ist man nach einer Frage gut (und vor allem ausreichend) informiert. Wie schon in der App Beschreibung erwähnt soll bald Messaging hinzugefügt werden, was man aber kaum nutzen wird, denn wer kommuniziert mit seinen Freunden schon gern auf Englisch. Wer nach einer App sucht mit der man so einigermaßen gut Deutsch reden kann, kann ich nur Voice Actions empfehlen. Ein Download ist Voice Answer jedoch allemal wert :)
Umständliche Suchmaschine
Mit google bin ich deutlich schneller und bekomme auch meine antworten. Sobald ne frage kompliziert wird kommt i dont know oder please rephrase that. Den sinn des lebens kennt es zwar, hat man sich gut abgeschaut, aber am ende bleibt es nur eine sprechende suchmaschine die selbst als spielerei zu langweilig und der preis zu hoch.

Diese app ist eine sehr gut Siri-alternative für ältere devices und man bekommt zahlreiche Infos. Außerdem kann man damit auch zum Teil das Handy steuern. Schade, dass es nur auf englisch ist.
Far from my expectations
When reading about this new app, it was compared with Siri. I own an iPhone 4 so Siri isnt available to me. So I was happy about this app coming out. But wo, I just dowloaded it and I am very, no extremely, disappointed. Out of 10 simple commands, the app "heard" correctly at best twice. And it is not because I am mumbling, or talking to fast or asking dumb questions. I am articulating clearly and asking simple question, the app is just not "hearing" right. And the few times it did, it rarely had a answer. When I ask: "What is the top rated hotel in Montreal?", it seems like an answer an app like this one should be able to give me. Instead, I was told "I dont know". Anyways, Ill give it a couple more tries but so far, really disappointed I spent 4$ for this. Hope improvements come fast. Thank you.
