Description
Weber Connect is the companion app to Weber smart barbecues and devices. When paired to a Weber Connect barbecue or device, the app becomes your sensor dashboard, remote control and recipe book all in one!
Track temperatures from anywhere
The temperature of your barbecue is important. Weber Connect barbecues and devices can track your barbecues temperature and alert you when it drops below your target temp due to a flameout or spikes because of a flareup. With the Weber Connect app, you can follow its temperature and get alerts for important events.
Even more important is the temperature of your food! A few degrees are all that stand between perfect and overdone. Weber Connect barbecues and devices let you track your foods internal temperature precisely with connected food probes and transmit them to your app. Watch the temp rise on the graph so you know when its almost time to head back outside to take the steaks off or set a target temp and get alerted when its done no matter where you are.
Adjust the barbecue without getting up from the couch
Some Weber barbecues, like the SmokeFire, can have their cook temperature and mode changed by the app. That means you can turn the heat up, go into SmokeBoost mode or shut down your barbecue without taking your eyes off the game.
Never wonder what to make for dinner again
The Weber Connect app has over 800 built-in recipes, with more being published every month. Every recipe has been crafted and tested by Weber Grill Masters, and many are fan favourites, so you know you cant go wrong with any of them! And almost half of our recipes are Smart Recipes, which walk you through, step-by-step, with short looping videos and clear instructions so you know when youre doing it right. Whats new with Weber Connect with version 2.3? Have a seat and Ill tell you:
WiFi connectivity improvements
• Users with some types of WiFi routers have found that their barbecues would stop communicating over WiFi unexpectedly. Weber Connect 2.3 includes improvements to this behaviour, and more are on the way.
New colours for buttons and graph
• Just in time for (late) summer! Or just in time to get you through the rest of the winter if youre in the Southern Hemisphere!.. We have cheery new colours and subtly refined UI for the Dashboard.
Better separation of Essentials vs. All Recipes
• When looking at the recipes in a specific category, we found ourselves losing track of where the Essentials ended and the rest of the recipes began. So weve put Essentials in one of those slick horizontal carousels, which keeps them all up at the top of the category.
