This app provides a tour of the White House in Washington DC. It will take you inside the house without ever going beyond the front gate, showing you how the home evolved since the early-1800s and how it is used today. Did you know that:
•The oval office is not in the White House?
•The back door is the now the front door?
•President Lincoln did not sleep in the Lincoln bedroom or on the Lincoln bed?
As you learn the answers to these questions you will also experience an intimate side of the first family’s that lived there.
•Who dictated from the bathtub?
•What were Dwight Eisenhower’s favorite movies?
•Why did Abraham Lincoln’s hands shake when he signed the emancipation proclamation?
If you can come in person, the app will choose your favorite GPS to guide you to the starting point and along the tour as well. The app will mark your progress as you proceed, but you can clear it to start over or let a friend take it from the beginning. Take it anywhere in the world and move ahead as soon as you like.
