Un dictionnaire unilingue absolument remarquable: la base de donnée est très très riche et le classement des entrées est innovant: •Le thesaurus comprend les hyponymes et hypernymes (du sens + générique au sens + spécifique). •Chaque mot est cliquable (lien hypertexte) Ces deux fonctions permettent de naviguer dans le dictionnaire et decouvrir de nouveaux termes. Conseillé pour les étudiants en anglais, les enseignants, et plus globalement toutes les personnes qui rédigent ou prennent la parole en anglais. Pour le prix, cest un must.

Actuellement en angleterre, je conseille fortement ce dictionnaire, actuellement le meilleur unilingue sur litunes app store. Vu le prix, il est encore plus attractif, en effet, on ne paye pas la marque, mais la qualité! Les synonymes et hypernymes sont dune utilité EVIDENTE. Un seul bug au compteur, quitte lors du mot VEGETABLE, ou proche. Merci !!

Appli excellente et extrêmement pratique. Elle ne ma jamais fait defaut, pourtant certains mots que je recherche sont souvent assez recherchés... Et ne figurent pas dans dautres versions. Vraiment genial. Bravo et merci pour cet outil indispensable en anglais.
Ne pas hésiter une seconde !
Dictionnaire tout Anglais extrêmement remarquable. A la hauteur de lAmerican Heritage Dictionnary 4th edition (qui est 15 fois plus cher, au moment de la promotion Wordbook de décembre 2008 !). En plus, Wordbook propose tous les mots avec hyperlien (pas le cas de AHD4), et a un thésaurus. Les étymologies (Origin) proposées par Wordbook sont également très remarquables. On peut aussi activer la prononciation en audio (menu pronunciation/audio), avec une synthèse vocale interne (sans WiFi) et un lien avec deux prononciations (homme-femme) téléchargeables WiFi de meilleure qualité. Certes AHD4 reste la référence, mais "WordBook English Dictionary & Thesaurus" (and Thesaurus !) nen est pas loin et propose des avantages indéniables. A ce prix, que lon soit débutant en anglais, ou avancé, ou même "fluent", il ne faut pas hésiter une seconde : très grande utilité garantie et une vraie affaire !

Excellente application pour pas cher. Je viens de lacheter pour moins de 3 euros et jai un vrai dictionnaire sur mon iphone qui me facilite bien la vie. Bravo aux développeurs pour leur travail.
