Now you can keep track of all your drives with your Iphone!
With the Xelerity app you transform your IPhone into a car computer and a drive analysis tool.
This is how it works:
After starting the app add a drive and the app switches to the car computer mode.
Now the app records your trip and shows you all important information:
- Current speed
- Maximum speed
- Average speed
- Travel time
- Covered distance
- Current height
During recording the app integrates seamlessly with apple maps navigation.
Furthermore trip recording also works while the app is in background.
After recording, you can rate your drive, assign the drive a car (e.g. your car or a rental car) and add further notes.
From the overview of your drive records you can switch to evaluation mode.
In addition to an overview map with the route you traveled, the app shows you the most relevant information for the selected drive:
departure and arrival data
dates, such as maximum speed, average speed, total riding time, minimum and maximum height and the length of the route
velocity profile
height profile
Both in velocity profile view and elevation profile view, you can enable the analysis mode by double tapping the according graph view. Now you can see exactly where you have been how fast and at what height. To leave this mode just double tap the graph view again.
Note: The app uses the GPS receiver of your phone, resulting in a shorter battery life.
We recommend that you connect the iPhone to the power supply during the recoding of a trip.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
A GPS equipped device is required to use car computer mode and to record trips.
