Yalla: The Community Network was created with the vision of promoting community involvement across Lebanon. Through using the app, anyone can sign up for events happening across Lebanon and make an impact. Whether thats signing up for a beach cleanup project, or participating in a food drive, everyone can find an event that is sure to match their interests. The platform builds a bridge that intuitively gives institutions the volunteers they need. It also tracks the hours and activities completed by each user. This feature is especially useful in the education sector, where schools and universities are now able to see which students actively contribute to their community. It allows these schools to track and reward community involvement.

Connect
Our app aims to connect users, NGOs, and educational institutions. Users are given the opportunity to choose from a diverse choice of activities or events hosted by NGOs across Lebanon who are in need of volunteers to help improve our Lebanese community. Educational institutions also have the opportunity to post events hosted by their many clubs, which will be exclusively available to users who identify themselves as students of that institution.

Track
Users have the opportunity to track their progress through the app. Information saved in the app includes the total number of hours invested in events and details of past events that the user has already attended.
Educational institutions can monitor the progress of their students and retrieve quantitative data on their trends and habits. Such information will allow schools and universities to analyze which events their students are engaging in the most.
