British English贔屓の私にとって待望のアプリです。 Wisdom2とフォーマットが一緒なので、併せて使っています。 この2つの組み合わせは非常に使いやすく愛用しています。 ただし、一つ大きな不満点があります。 それは見出し語の発音がないこと。 takeを辞書で検索すると、takes、taking、takenの発音再生はあるが、take自体の発音が無い。 よって、WisdomでいうランクAの副詞や形容詞たちですら、見出し語は音声再生ができません。 複数形や現在分詞などの発音を聞けることは大きなメリットではありますが、 そもそもの見出語自体の発音再生ができるようにしてほしいです。

発音記号のトコ
"Take"なら "teɪk"をタップすれば、発音聞けるよ？
Great dictionary, but not for advanced learners or native speakers
I was trying to explain some mathematical functions to friends, and I dont know how to make some words more understandable to those who aint native English speakers, for example, the word "lemma", "reciprocal". I just hoping it contains more advanced vocabularies.but it still a great dictionary
iPadに辞書アプリを入れるのもアリです
以前から英単語を調べる時には電子辞書を使っていたのですが、iPadも普段使っているので軽い気持ちで試しに購入してみました。iPadに入れて便利だと思うことは、やはりネットの記事で分からない単語があった時にコピペで検索できる事。またコウビルド英英辞典は他の英英辞典と異なり文章的な言い回しなので英語初心者にはこっちの方が良いという意見もあります。調べる事が多読に繋がるというわけです。これ単体ではこのような良さが有りますが、ウィズダム英和・和英辞典2を入れると意味の分からない英単語をスムーズに翻訳できます。逆にウィズダムで出てきた英単語をコウビルドで調べることもできます。このような快適性からか、以前よりも英語ページのサイトを見る時間が増えたので、それが一番嬉しいです。
