Game Drive is an amazing app to learn about South African animals while on safari. Developed as an interactive tool to get the most out of a visit to a game reserve, the app includes animal sounds, animal tracks, quizzes, a checklist, animal comparisons, game drive tips, as well as beautiful images of African mammals and birds. This volume of Game Drive includes information on the mammals and birds of the eastern bushveld areas of South Africa, including the Kruger National Park and the surrounding game reserves in Mpumalanga and Limpopo, game reserves in Swaziland, Zululand in KwaZulu-Natal as well as parts of the Eastern Cape.

What makes this app different is the original, interactive way in which the information is presented.
-A section on animal tracks offers the user the chance to swipe over the track to see which track belongs to which animal.
-The app also boasts an interactive animal track quiz, in which the user can drag a track onto the matching animal.
-Incorporated in the app is a drag and drop checklist, where the user can drag a picture of an animal sighted and drop it on to a sheet to keep a record of sightings.
-Animal sounds (only selected animals) - when looking at an animal and reading about it, the user can hear the sound it makes with a simple tap of a button.
-Two extensive animal quizzes. Here a question is asked about animal behaviour or relationships and the user has to tap on the correct answer. The second quiz is on animal sounds, where the user can listen to a sound and identify it by tapping on the correct answer.
