Professional musicians know, that having a good trained ear is one of the most important skills, a musician should have. goodEar was made to increase those skills and bring you on a new musical level!
It is made for all musicians, whether you are beginner or professional.
Functions:
• Choose from four different modes: intervals, chords, scales, melodies
Intervals:
• Choose from all intervals between 2 octaves
• Activate "backing chord" to hear the interval in harmonic context
• Play them ascending, descending, or simultaneously
Chords:
• All possible triads and inversions
• All possible 4-note-chords (e.g. Cm7)
• 20 different extended/altered chords (e.g. D7b9b13 or Emaj7#11)
Scales:
• 38 different scales
• All ionian scales (e.g. ionian, dorian...)
• All harmonic-minor scales (e.g. Ionian #5)
• All melodic-minor scales (e.g. Mixo #11)
• 5 Pentatonic Scales (e.g. minor pentatonic)
• 5 Hexatonic Scales (e.g. whole tone scale)
• 7 Octatonic Scales (e.g. Bebop Dominant)
• play them ascending or descending
Melodies:
• Identify random generated melodies
• You can make them diatonic, or non diatonic
• Choose the intervals, that you want to be included in the melody
• Activate "backing chord" to hear the melody in harmonic context
• Create your own exercises, depending on your personal approach. (No annoying wizards)!
• Play the exercises on piano or give the answer with multiple-choice
• Watch your progress in statistics
• Make highscores, and try to challenge yourself

Ideal für Einsteiger und Fortgeschrittene
Ich finde die App sehr gelungen!!! Der große Vorteil ist hierbei, dass man sich seine Höraufgaben selbst auswählen und somit die Anforderungen ganz individuell auf sich einstellen kann. Dabei reicht das Spektrum von einfachen Dreiklängen und deren Umkehrungen, bis hin zu mehrstimmigen Akkorden zuzüglich ihrer Tensions. Außerdem werden auch alle wichtigen Tonleitern, sowie Intervalle und freie Melodiediktate abgefragt. Somit eignet sich die App für Einsteiger welche ganz unkompliziert ihr Gehör trainieren wollen genau so, wie für etwas erfahrerene Hörer welche sich beispielsweise auf eine Aufnahmeprüfung oder dergleichen vorbereiten möchten. Falls man das schon alles drauf hat, rentiert sich die App trotzdem, da man ja das Erlernte auch behalten bzw. vertiefen will!!! Eindeutige Kaufempfehlung!!!
Gut für Drummer
….ist gerade für Schlagzeuger ein gutes Instrumentarium um den Wunsch nach "musikalischen" und gewünschtem Begleiten zu erfüllen. Hören und Verstehen ist das Wichtigste für einen Drummer beim Begleiten verschiedener Stilarten. Sei es Rock, Blues, Jazz usw. goodEar ermöglicht es auf verschiedenen Schwierigkeitsstufen sein Gehör zu schulen…. Und somit noch musikalischer und einfühlsamer zu agieren. Tolles App meine Empfehlung.
Super App
Die App bietet im Prinzip alles was man braucht! Ich als Musikstudent nutze sie nun regelmäßig. Sie ist super gestaltet und kann intuitiv bedient werden. Die Möglichkeit die Lösungen mittels Multiple Choice oder mittels der Klaviatur einzugeben ist perfekt. Denn beide Möglichkeiten stellen unterschiedliche Anforderungen an das Gehirn! Somit wird alles abgedeckt. Der Sound ist klar, die Beschreibung super! Was nicht zu unterschätzen ist, mit dieser gelungenen App kann man auch problemlos sein Gehör z.B. im Zug oder an anderen öffentlichen Orten trainieren.... einfach Kopfhörer aufsetzen und los gehts! Klasse!!
