Description
Road Watcher - transforms you device into a classic russian style Dash Camera. Mount it on the windshield turn the app on and you have a nice car DVR recorder. It will automaticaly limit the disk space it uses recording the new videos over the old ones.
The app allows you to take full control over the video recording. Customize you settings to record videos from HD quality to low quality street surveilance camera videos.

- Continuous loop recording. Old videos are overwritten.
- Videos are annotated with time and date
- Speed control - app makes a signal if you exceed a given limit.
- App allows to track your movements while recording video and later viewing it on the map.
- Instant photo feature - allows you to make a very fast photo while still in the app and recording.

*Be careful: using best video quality settings your device can drain its batery really fast.

Noch stark ausbaufähig...
An sich macht die App was sie soll doch einiges fehlt einfach noch, was andere Apps bieten, und auch noch kostenlos sind. - kein Support für die iPhone Plus Modelle. Im Jahr 2016 einfach nur traurig. - kein Manuelles löschen der Videoaufnahmen möglich...? - Keine Erklärung was Segmente sind? - keine Anzeige der Geschwindigkeit im fertigen Video.
Für mich fast ideal
Die Anzahl der Segmente bestimmt, wieviele der Videos gespeichert werden, bevor die ältesten gelöscht werden. Die einzelnen Videos können gelöscht werden. In der Übersicht einfach wegwischen. Wenn das Video komplett gesichert wird, wird die Geschwindigkeit bei mir mit angezeigt. Mir gefällt sie App. Startet schnell und bietet Loop-Aufnahme. Was ich allerdings verbesserungswürdig finde: Der Autofocus kann nicht ausgeschalten werden. Nachts daher oft unscharf. Die angezeigte Geschwindigkeit ist zu hoch. An sonsten bisher für mich die brauchbarste Dashcam-App.

Die Dashcam funktioniert wie beschrieben. Nachts allerdings etwas unscharf. Das was die App jedoch verspricht, hält sie. Daher von mir 5 Sterne.
