The house facade in sky blue or royal blue? A living room in olive green? RUCO Colors shows how things could look. With this app for iPhone and iPad, you can now recolour the objects in your photos with any RUCO Colour – quickly and easily.
In only three steps, anything can be recoloured with RUCO Colors:
1. Take a photo with your iPhone.
2. Select one of 1’510 RUCO colours or optional 210 RAL Classic colours or 1950 NCS Index colours.
3. Recolour the object in the photo.
RUCO Colors is as useful as it is inspiring. Painters, architects, graphic designers and Web designers can now make it easier for their customers to make colour decisions. With the RUCO Colors App, you can quickly give them a picture of your colour concept. You can present colour designs to your customers on site and display alternatives directly. And you can save your colour selection by project name and send photos of recoloured objects via email.
The colour palette includes the RUCO 720, RUCO Swiss-Collection and RUCOTREND Facade collections of Rupf & Co. AG and can optionally be expanded by RAL CLASSIC or NCS Index colours. The corresponding L*a*b*, sRGB, CMYK and LRV values are listed for each colour. RUCO Colors is also compatible with COLORCATCH NANO and NANO 2 the Colorix colorimeters.
COLORCATCH NANO 2 is the revolutionary color measuring device that makes life easier for all professionals who work with color. It is the worlds first Bluetooth camera connected to a smartphone, it offers unprecedented convenience and accuracy in color measurement. The new optical head on the device eliminates gloss and stray light, providing improved color measurement on plastic surfaces.
Additionally, COLORCATCH NANO 2 is one of the only colorimeters in the world to be equipped with a camera, which allows for maximum accuracy even on textured surfaces. With its advanced technology, the device reads and measures more than 50,000 pixels separately, automatically removing any non-dominant colors such as shadow effects and dirt.
The camera on COLORCATCH NANO 2 is a significant advantage, as it allows professionals to see exactly what is being measured. This is especially useful for measuring fine details, such as the color of a small symbol on a carpet and in the textile and printing industries.
