Kardia works with the FDA-cleared KardiaMobile, KardiaMobile 6L, or KardiaBand personal ECG devices, which can detect the most common arrhythmias in just 30 seconds. The Kardia app is designed to make managing heart care from home easier than ever, giving you the ability to seamlessly record ECGs, share heart data with your doctor remotely, keep track of your health history, and more.

Capture a medical-grade ECG with your Kardia device anytime, anywhere—no patches, wires, or gels required. Get an immediate result from Kardias Instant Analysis of normal, possible atrial fibrillation, bradycardia, or tachycardia. For additional analysis, you can choose to send the recording to your physician or to one of our partners for a Clinician Review by a cardiologist (US, Australia only) or cardiac care physiologist (UK, Ireland only).

The Kardia system is recommended by leading cardiologists and used by people around the world for accurate ECG recordings. Track your heart health data from home with the medical accuracy your doctor can trust.

NOTE: This app requires KardiaMobile, KardiaMobile 6L, or KardiaBand hardware to record an ECG. Get your Kardia device now at alivecor.com.

Kardia integrates with Apple Health to create a combined view of your health metrics.

I purchased an AliveCor mobile ECG machine for $150 with the ADVERTISED understanding that I will have full access to all the services on the AliveCor (now called Kardia) app. Starting Oct2016, I will only get a much-reduced version of the app unless I pay $10 and taxes per month. Unless they change this bait and switch practice, DO NOT BOTHER with this company.

Just Cool!!!

My cardiologist showed me this app and the device after being diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation. It is co cool. Sometimes it can take some time to get your fingers right when holding the device behind your phone. I just started using it and it works will and I can email the results to my doctor. He gave me the option to wear a monitor for a couple of weeks or to use this app and device - I chose this!! It has not recorded an irregular heartbeat yet but Im waiting to see if it does. When I am experiencing the symptoms and I use this app I will be able to know better.

This device worked fairly well for about a year -then intermittently-stopped short of 18 months-was told I needed to buy a new one-they didnt even offer to look at it or offer a discount-dont recommend it

The update makes this app worse

The app and device work well when used properly. HOWEVER, the update is counter productive. As if it wasnt already hard enough to capture a cardiac event, you now must open the app then select that you want to record. Previously you could open the app and start recording immediately. But Kardia has decided that adding an extra step that will take more time before you can record is the right way to go. Shame.

Life changing app and great customer service

If you suffer from paroxysmal a-fib, this is a life changing app when paired with the mobile ekg device (sold separately). It automatically detects if youre in a-fib (and with about 2 minutes of training from your cardiologist, you can also tell yourself just by eyeballing the EKG). No more trips to the ER for EKGs, no more frantic calls to the cardiologist. If youre like me, and your symptoms are subtle, never again will you miss the chance to be cardioverted without anticoagulation because you let it go for a few days because you werent sure if you were in and didnt want to hang out in the ER over the weekend (been there!). It saves thousands - literally - in medical bills over a year in avoided trips to the ER or cardiologist. It also reduces the risk youll be in unrecognized a-fib. I think Id pay 10 times the price they charge. The customer service is also excellent. I was an early adopter (at the advice of two of my doctors) and my device started to show some age in the last few months. A quick email and BOOM, replacement on its way. The app continues to improve with each new version, and the new band thats supposed to be coming out sounds like a total game changer. So long, Halter monitors! As you can probably tell, I cant recommend this more highly. There may not be that many of us for whom this is essential, but if youre one of us, you must get this ASAP.

Extremely easy to use!

I love the idea that I have a portable ECG with me anywhere and the best thing is that it doesnt waste your phone battery! As of right now its manly able to tell you if you heart is beating normally or if its got atrial fibrillation. Anything else that falls outside of those 2 will get an unreadable sign. Sure it has its flaws but Im excited for this because its only the beginning. Maybe in the future there will be an update that allows the device to pick up on other arrhythmias.

Keeps getting better and saves me tons of money

At first I didnt like the changes in this update... I guess just because it was different. Seems like it requires more button clicks and more screens to go through, but now that Ive gotten used to the new format, its fine. I like the new "resting heart rate" feature; Ive used it more than I expected to. And Im so glad the "guest" feature is still there. Sometimes my husband wants to compare his heartbeat to mine, if he thinks something looks wrong with mine (even when the results say "normal). I love that I can pay a few extra bucks to have a specialist review my reading. Ive used this feature a few times when I couldnt believe the "normal" results because I didnt feel normal. Depending on which service you select, you can get results back in as little as 30 minutes or as much as 24 hours. I usually choose 24 hours because its cheaper. Every time, the professional opinion also comes back as normal "with artifacts" (which apparently means background noise). And sometimes when I start doubting whether this thing actually works or not, sure enough I get an occasional "possible A-fib" reading. Having this device and app has saved me tons of money over the past year and a half, or so, since I got it. Id have gone to the doctors office so many times during that time if I hadnt had this app reassuring me everything is normal. My heart rarely feels "normal" anymore, but these readings are consistent with the EKGs at the doctor when I go for checkups, so I trust that Im okay even if I dont feel okay. For what its worth, I do have a thryoid condition called Hashimotos that causes palpitations, which might at least be contributing to worries about my heart health. But the bottom line is having this device to check my heart any time, day or night, has provided peace of mind and kept me out of the doctors office a lot.
